God has planted the seed of Orthodoxy in Norwich, Connecticut with the Orthodox Church of the Holy New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia. We are a small, active community with members from a rich variety of backgrounds and cultures. Our Orthodox Faith is the source of our strength and the focus of our efforts. We are blessed to be a community that is close and caring. There is usually something going on "up on the hill " that people get involved with. We pray that God will permit us to continue to be a "small island amidst the vain world, an island of hope and salvation." ( Archbishop Vikenty )

Our present building which has been erected on the hill top is the parish center. While we look to the day when we can build an actual church, the chapel in our parish center serves our needs. It is the hope of the parish to embark upon the construction of the church in the next few years.  Meanwhile, we have just added cupolas above the portico and they look great take a look at the pics.
